Adriana Beltran, PhD has been appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics, effective December 1, 2020.
Dr. Beltran received her PhD in Marine Biotechnology from CICESE Research Institute (Ensenada Mexico) followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Pharmacology at UNC Chapel Hill. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in Pharmacology in 2009 and was named the Director of the Human Pluripotent Cell Core Facility in 2016. Her office is 406 Taylor Hall.
