William Hannah, MD has been appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor on the fixed-term track, effective July 29, 2019.
Dr. Hannah will work with Drs. Berg and Powell in the Adult and Cancer Genetics Clinic.
Dr. Hannah obtained his MD at UNC School of Medicine and was a resident in Internal Medicine and Center for Human Genetics at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University. Most recently, he completed a fellowship in Medical Biochemical Genetics at Duke University. Will’s research is focused on primary ciliary dyskinesia, including the frequency of CFTR mutations in affected individuals as well as loss-of-function mutations in OFD1-related disorders. He expects to spend the majority of his effort in the clinic while continuing his research focus.
