Jeremy Purvis, PhD (Associate Professor, Genetics and Computational Medicine) has been selected as a recipient of an Academic Leadership Fellowship by the Institute for the Arts and Humanities (IAH) in the UNC College of Arts and Sciences.
The IAH Leadership Program includes one week of training at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, Racial Equity Institute Phase training, weekly seminars, retreats, and dinner meetings. One of eight Fellows, Dr. Purvis will have these experiences to develop leadership capacities, examine career opportunities, build a leadership network, and extend contacts to other leaders beyond UNC.
