A new paper from the laboratory of Dr. Melissa Haendel was published in JMIR MHealth UHealth.
The study, titled “Harnessing consumer wearable digital biomarkers for individualized recognition of postpartum depression using the All of Us Research Program data set: Cross-sectional study” established “consumer wearables as a promising tool for postpartum depression identification and hIghlights personalized machine learning approaches, which could transform early disease detection strategies.” The first author of the paper was Dr. Eric Hurwitz, a postdoctoral fellow in the Haendel lab.
