Dr. Katie Hoadley (Associate Professor, Genetics) received a new award from the Department of Defense for her project titled “Mapping histologic and molecular divergence in breast cancer metastasis”.
The study objective is to develop image-based approaches to capture tumor heterogeneity and infer changes or evolution that will influence metastatic clinical course. By focusing on paired primary and metastatic tumors detailing how image-derived features evolve over time, the project will provide critical insights into metastatic progression.
