Dr. Terry Magnuson, Vice Chancellor for Research and Kay M. and Van L. Weatherspoon Eminent Distinguished Professor of Genetics was awarded an administrative supplement to the U42 Cooperative Agreement “A Carolina Center to Characterize and Maintain Mutant Mice”. The resources generated by the supplement will meet the urgent need of the biomedical community for expanded access to current SARS-CoV2 mouse models and the creation of newer improved models to inform preclinical development and testing of vaccines and therapeutics.
