Dr. Paola Giusti Rodriguez (Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics) has been appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Florida College of Medicine, effective August 2021.
Dr. Giusti Rodriguez has been at UNC Chapel Hill for the past eight years. Working in the laboratory of Dr. Patrick F. Sullivan, she focused on GWAS associations, copy number variants and functional genomics in schizophrenia and the development of CRISPR-based epigenome editing tools. She was also instrumental in establishing and managing the Latin American Genomics Consortium (LAGC).
