School of Medicine IT is working with Microsoft to provide extended support for Windows 10 through October 2028 to ensure a smooth and flexible transition for all departments.
Departmental Support & Device Setup
SOM IT will work directly with individual departments to:
- Extend support for devices that need replacement to allow time for units to purchase new computers
- Coordinate upgrade timelines
- Assist with new device setup
- Provide hands-on support to minimize disruption
You don’t have to take any action as of now, in the next few weeks SOM IT will reach out to each department to support the transition.
