Mentorship is an incredibly important part of our fellowship program.

Each fellow is assigned a faculty mentor who has volunteered to help guide fellows through the transition to UNC and fellowship when they join the program. In their first year, each fellow decides who will be their primary research mentor, but are encouraged to continue working with and seeking mentorship from many faculty. Clinically, fellows also have assigned clinic preceptors and work with many faculty on the clinical services.
