- The NIH awarded Myron Cohen, MD, and Family Health International $9.2 million for development of COVID prevention studies.
- Ross Boyce, MD, received a “Creativity Hub Award” to develop and implement evidence-based, cost-effective surveillance and response systems to address vector-born disease, an epidemic affecting the entire state, but particularly those living in rural and underserved communities in NC.
