Honey JonesWe are honored to announce Dr. Honey Mone’t Jones has been appointed the Advanced Practice Professional Supervisor for the the Medicine Intensive Care Unit.

Dr. Jones, is a board-certified ACNP in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She serves as an advanced practice professional (APP) intensivist and clinical lead for the APPs in the Medical ICU at UNC Hospitals. Her primary role is providing care for critically ill adults and her clinical experience includes COVID care, neuro-critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterization lab. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees from Duke University and her research focused on adverse events surrounding intra-hospital transport of the critically ill adult. Dr Jones is appointed as clinical assistant professor in the UNC School of Medicine and clinical associate faculty in the Duke University School of Nursing. She also serves as faculty for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and is recognized as a Fellow in AANP and SCCM’s American College of Critical Care.
