Burn injury surveillance, clinical management and burn prevention and outreach efforts are currently ongoing. KCH is recently opened a 36 bed burn unit and our efforts are supporting the clinical care of burn patient as well as the education and training of the burn care team. Our long term goal is quality burn care and reduction of burn related morbidity and mortality by developing a comprehensive burn center at KCH.
