Why UNC Ophthalmology?
During my MS4 away rotation at UNC Ophthalmology, what stood out most was how capable and competent the residents were. Seeing how they managed a wide range of pathology with confidence while treating patients with respect and compassion left a strong impression on me. I also appreciated the diversity of the patient population and the chance to build hands-on skills in the wet lab. By the end of the rotation, it was clear this was the kind of environment I wanted to train in to become the ophthalmologist I’ve always hoped to be.”
