Basic Research
The UNC Neuroscience Research Building features approximately 35,000 square feet of research-oriented space and houses investigators affiliated with the UNC Neuroscience Center. The UNC Neuroscience Center is an inter-departmental research center whose mission is to promote neuroscience research with a specific emphasis on developmental, cellular and disease-related processes.
The UNC Department of Ophthalmology has lab space in the Neuroscience Research Building and is actively recruiting investigators who are experts in the field of basic clinical eye research.
