Furthermore, the resident clinic offers me the opportunity to take ownership of patient care with a longitudinal focus across diverse subspecialties each day. Most importantly, UNC’s commitment to serving a diverse population, including those without insurance or a history of routine care, resonates with me. These individuals often fall through the cracks in the healthcare system, and I am eager to make a meaningful difference in their lives by providing them care.
