Microbiology Pathology

The Microbiology Division delivers high-quality diagnostic testing across bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology, and molecular infectious disease diagnostics. Our laboratory plays a critical role in infection diagnosis, antimicrobial stewardship, and public health response.  

Education and service are tightly integrated. Residents and fellows receive structured training in test methods, result interpretation, and lab stewardship, with opportunities to engage in infection prevention initiatives and applied research in diagnostic microbiology.
