We are pleased to announce that, Dr. Amy Levenson will assume the role of Director of Fellowship Training in the Department of Pediatrics effective July 1, 2022. Dr. Levenson has been serving as the Co-Director of Fellowship Training alongside with Dr. Wayne Price since January 2022. In this position, she will lead the pediatric fellows’ orientation, core curriculum, and bimonthly seminar series, and support efforts to enhance fellowship research and scholarship opportunities. Additionally, Dr. Levenson will work closely with program directors to assure continued ACGME accreditation, facilitate fellowship recruitment, provide faculty development, and aid in the development of new fellowship programs. As the Fellowship Program Director of Pediatric Endocrinology for the past 3 years, Dr. Levenson brings creativity and enthusiasm to this role, along with her passion for education, training, and mentorship.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Wayne Price for his exemplary service as the Director of Fellowship Training for the past 21 years! Dr. Price started as the unofficial leader of the fellowship program directors in 2001 and was officially appointed to this position in 2013. He has been instrumental in developing an innovative curricula for fellows, promoting the success of our fellowship programs, and has served as an invaluable resource and mentor to both trainees and faculty for decades. Dr. Price is recognized as an outstanding clinician, remarkable scholar, and leader who demonstrates humility with integrity. We are forever indebted to his leadership within our department and institution.
