Taking Care of Our Own (TCOOO) is composed of a group of mental health professionals who can meet individually with you to assess the unique factors to promote your well-being as well as mitigate what may be contributing to symptoms of stress, mood changes, or burnout. We aim to help you cope, learn, and thrive amidst what can be common experiences that can impact one’s professional journey as a physician, future physician or other healthcare professional.

The TCOOO program utilizes a brief, supportive model of care to ensure timely access and availability of services.

Should longer-term services be of interest, TCOOO can assist in providing tailored, real-time guidance about additional resources and options both at UNC and our greater community.

Choose the category that best describes you to learn more about applicable services through the Taking Care of Our Own Program

To request an individual appointment with one of our TCOOO providers or to request a referral for care, please complete the TCOOO Intake Form.
