  • Time to Conceive is a research study of women ages 30 to 44 years, who are trying to get pregnant.
  • The purpose of Time to Conceive is to identify a way to measure a person’s fertility. Specifically, we will try to determine if certain hormones (FSH, estradiol, antimullerian hormone, inhibin) in blood and urine will predict fertility and infertility.
  • Time to Conceive is designed to collect blood and urine from 850 women, who are trying to get pregnant, and observe how long it takes them to get pregnant.
  • Time to Conceive is important because 1 out of every 7 women will suffer from infertility, resulting in significant distress and anxiety; however, we have no markers to predict who will be infertile.
