Newest additions to the growing list of UNC Urology Faculty are Drs. Dave Friedlander and David Johnson. Faculty who continued on the list for 2024 include: Drs. Kristy Borawski, Timothy Bukowski, Katherine Chan, Brad Figler, Matthew Nielsen, Mathew Raynor, Sherry Ross, Angela Smith, Richard Sutherland, Ray Tan, Davis Viprakasit, and Eric Wallen.
In addition to the faculty members, eight Joint/Adjunct Faculty members from the UNC Department of Urology also made the 2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctors list: Drs. Ethan Basch, Lester Borden, Matthew Coward, Cynthia Denu-Ciocca, Scott Macdiarmid, Matthew Milowsky, Tracy Rose, and Young Whang. These physicians work closely with the department to provide specialized care to patients and are recognized for their expertise and commitment to excellence.
