Louise Z. Francke
"As I have aged, my eyes have changed. At 40 it was reading glasses, at 50 it was trifocals, at 60 flashers, the fuzzy specs and higher blood pressure, at 65 I'm very grateful to have Dr. Landers caring for my eyes. Sight and hand eye coordination are the two things an artist doesn't want to lose. Although there are certain eye problems I can incorporate into my art as the impressionist did, I prefer not to do so. Thank you UNC Department of Ophthalmology for watching over my eyes."
