UNC Visitors Center

For many people, getting to know UNC starts on historic Franklin Street. Located in the heart of Chapel Hill, the UNC Visitors’ Center provides maps, guides, general tours, and information about campus. The center features an interactive touchscreen that showcases some of the most popular campus attractions. Past MSTAR Students have recommended stopping in.

The UNC Visitor’s Center is located at 134 E. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC. It is open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. Visit www.unc.edu/visitors to learn more.

A campus tour is another great way of getting to know UNC The MSTAR Program Coordinator arranges campus tours within the first few days of the MSTAR Program. Students may also want to take a self-guided tour of the lovely Chapel Hill campus. This takes you to places like Coker Arboretum, the Carolina Union, and, of course, the iconic Old Well!
