Women’s History Month celebration

Inclusive Gatherings occur on the first Tuesday of every month. Everyone in BCBP faculty-affiliated labs is welcome to join us in GMB 3007 directly following our seminar.

This March, we invite you to celebrate Women’s History Month by shining a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of women in science. Throughout history, women scientists have defied expectations, shattered barriers, and reshaped our understanding of the world.

Women in science have played pivotal roles in every discipline, from astronomy and biology to physics and engineering. Despite facing systemic obstacles and gender biases, they have persevered, making groundbreaking discoveries, pioneering new technologies, and driving innovation forward.

As we commemorate Women’s History Month, let us recognize the countless women scientists whose contributions have shaped our world and inspired future generations. Let us work to break down barriers and create more inclusive environments where women in science can thrive and excel.

Join us in celebrating Women in Science during Women’s History Month and beyond. Together, let’s celebrate the achievements, talents, and resilience of women scientists and empower the next generation to reach for the stars.
