Join us for the annual Integrated Training in Cancer Model Systems (ITCMS) Director’s Career Symposium, moderated by Channing Der, PhD, and Brian Strahl, PhD. Roman Camarda, PhD, is a Research Analyst at Aquilo Capital Management, which invests in drug development companies that harness the power of cutting-edge science to address urgent medical needs. Camarda received bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Photomedia from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco. Prior to joining Aquilo, he was Lead Translational Scientist at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. At Aquilo, Camarda’s primary role is to identify investment opportunities by interrogating the science and the business of publicly traded, human therapeutics-focused biotech companies.
