Surviving and Thriving Summit
The Graduate School’s Diversity and Student Success program invites the UNC-Chapel Hill campus community to the inaugural Surviving and Thriving Summit. We will explore stories from graduate students of color through interactive story boards and a performance piece, culminating in a facilitated discussion. We invite you to join us in this gathering space as we learn from one another and build our community together.
Gentle Yoga with Gillings Culture of Health
Take time to relax and rejuvenate with gentle yoga. Find strength, balance, flexibility, and an overall feeling of energetic renewal. A mindful yoga practice can enhance self-compassion, lighten a heavy heart, and relieve the tensions of stress and anxiety. Employees can enjoy a free virtual gentle yoga sessions two times a week.
Standard Safe Zone training
Standard Safe Zone covers the concepts mentioned above, as well as campus climate data, campus achievement disparities, common allyship scenarios. This training is intended to address concerns particular to students, faculty, and staff members.
