Matthew Flick, PhD was recently awarded a NIH U01 grant, which is part of the Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) Stromal Reprogramming Consortium (PSRC). This is an MPI award that Dr. Flick received with collaborators Bumsoo Han, PhD at Purdue University and Melissa Fishel, PhD at the Indiana University School of Medicine. The title of the grant is “Reprogramming PDAC Stroma by Targeting Coagulation in the Tumor Microenvironment”. The major goal of the grant is to determine the efficacy in targeting coagulation activity in the pancreatic tumor microenvironment to enhance the delivery and efficacy of anti-tumor chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
