Steven Grover, PhD has been awarded an R01 from NIH NHLBI in the amount of $3,275,000 for a five-year project titled “Regulation of Coagulation and Thrombosis by C1-inhibitor”.
The award will fund translational studies to evaluate the procoagulant phenotype associated with congenital C1-inhibitor deficiency and the potential utility of FDA approved C1-inhibitor preparations as hemostasis sparing anticoagulants.
Co-Investigators on this award include Robert Lee (UNC BRC) and Alex Dregan (King’s College London).
