On August 23, 2024, we hosted our first seminar speaker of the Fall 2024 Semester, Dr. Mary Cushman from the University of Vermont. Dr. Cushman is the 2024 BRC Trainee Invited Speaker and her visit included a fantastic interactive workshop on how to write a research article, “Dialogue with a Recovering Editor” and a seminar entitled “Stroke and Cognitive Impairment in a National Biracial Cohort: The REGARDS Study.” Thank you to Nirupama Ramadas, PhD and Stephanie Reistma, PhD, for organizing Dr. Cushman’s schedule and hosting the event.
