Mofi Obadina was awarded a grant through the Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders (FWGBD) to support her project on Hypoxia and Angiogenesis in Pregnant Women with Sickle Cell Disease. The grant is for 1 year period (February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026 ). The FWGBD Annual Research Award was established to support a research projects in hematology and/or in obstetrics/gynecology in blood disorders proposed by junior faculty or fellows who are pursuing careers in related disciplines, and to foster and sustain widespread interest in translating research in clinical care that will ultimately improve the lives of affected women and girls.
