Dr. Erica Sparkenbaugh was awarded the UNC School of Medicine Office of Research Translational Team Science Award (TTSA) pilot grant for her application titled “Hypoxemia-Induced Platelet Activation in Sickle Cell Disease Pregnancy: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets”.
