Allison joined the Blood Research Center Clinical Research Program as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator in 2025. She earned her Master of Physiology degree from NC State University in 2022, and her bachelor’s degree in biology from UNC Wilmington in 2017. Allison’s background is diverse, with both clinical and research experience from her work as a Lead Medical Assistant at Wake Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Consultants and as a Research Assistant at the UNC School of Medicine, where she supported the North Carolina Lung Screening Registry.
As Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator, Allison will develop ownership of a variety of ongoing clinical research projects, as well as support the development and implementation of new clinical research projects within the Blood Research Center. Her personal interest include traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with her friends, fiancé, and chocolate lab, Olsen.
