Ethan joined the UNC Hemophilia Treatment Center in 2025 and is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Before joining UNC, he served as the Technical Director of the Mitochondrial Phenotyping and Functional Assessment Core at WVU, where he supported a wide range of translational research projects and contributed to grant and publication efforts.
Professionally, his background is rooted in clinical research operations, laboratory data management, and workflow optimization. In his role as ATHN Data Coordinator, Ethan supports the center’s ATHN submissions, ensures accurate and timely data entry in Clinical Manager, and assists with federal reporting requirements for CDC Community Counts and other ATHN initiatives. His personal interests include traveling, exploring local food scenes, watching sports such as soccer, and spending time with his wife and two cats.
