Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics

Dr. Karin Leiderman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, and faculty in the Computational Medicine Program.

My research is focused on studying the influence of biochemical and biophysical mechanisms on blood coagulation, clot formation, and bleeding. My methodology involves the integration of mathematical, statistical, and experimental approaches to determine mechanisms underlying complex biological phenomena.
