  Victor Sierpina, MD – Class of 1997

  Dr. Victor Sierpina retired as Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is learning Mandarin, Spanish, and piano while spending time with his grandkids and traveling internationally.

  Donald Nease, MD – Class of 1991

  Dr. Nease is Professor and Director of Community Engagement and Health Equity at University of Colorado.

  Karen Bruce, MD – Class of 1993

  Dr. Bruce is the Chief Medical Officer at Stormont Vail Health in Kansas and earned a Master’s in Clinical Health Informatics from the University of Wisconsin in May 2024.

  Bert Fields, MD – Class of 1987

  Dr. Fields is teaching and providing excellent patient care at Cone Health Sports Medicine and serves as Editor in Chief of Sports Medicine Up to Date.
