Emma Hinkle

Emma Hinkle, 4th year PhD candidate and NIH Predoctoral Fellow (Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology, Giudice lab) published an article titled “Three ways that the field of genetics can be more equitable” on the Genes to Genomes blog sponsored by the Genetics Society of America (GSA).

Ms. Hinkle addresses issues with inequity in genetics by focusing on education, research and representation.  In her free time, she co-hosts the Steministas Podcast where she educates the public about science in the news and the ethical implications of new science findings.
