In support of the work that you do, the UNC School of Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be offering awards in the amount of $1500 – $2000, to assist with DEI requests and projects.
DEI funding areas include research, projects, programs, speakers, initiatives, conferences, trainings, etc. These grants are open to all UNC School of Medicine faculty, staff, trainees, and students. UNC Genetics applications require collaboration with, and signature from, Genetics Department Chair Fernando Pardo Manuel de Villena and Department of Genetics DEI Liaison Adriana Beltran or BCB and GMB DEI Liaison John Cornett. Applications will be reviewed three times for 2022. Application due dates will be June 1, September 1, and December 1. Contact your DEI Liaisons with additional questions.
