The objective of the pilot and feasibility program is to provide seed money of up to $25K for 1 year to initiate new and innovative projects in the areas of phenotyping and precision medicine that will enhance work being done in the CCCR, and generate preliminary data needed to develop projects that will successfully compete for extramural support.  The UNC CCCR is housed within the UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center and is funded by the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease (NIAMS).
