Adam earned both his undergraduate degree (Biology) and PhD (Pharmacology) from UNC Chapel Hill. His graduate training was carried out under the guidance of Al Baldwin, PhD where he focused on exploring the regulation of innate immune kinases downstream of the oncogenic driver KRAS in pancreatic cancers. Adam joined the Tamir lab as a postdoc in 2025 to gain more experience with proteomic and metabolomic methods – both of which support his passion for kinase function and cell signaling.
