SPT Labtech, Cryo-EM, Chameleon scientific presentation
SPT Labtech is the commercial partner of the Spotiton technology from the New York Structural Biology Center (NYSBC), which is now being developed under the Chameleon brand name. This system is a state-of-the-art technology that is a blot-free alternative to traditional sample prep methods and shows great promise to fight the daunting air-water interface problem. The seminar will focus on their efforts to modernize cryoEM sample techniques, which still mainly rely on decades-old methods.
