The SOM Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has announced the first round of DEI Mini Grant Awardees in the award program’s 2022 pilot year. The 2022 awardees include: Rick Baker, Qi Zhang, Silvia Ramos, Laura Lindsey-Boltz, Darex Vera-Rodriguez, Jean Marie Mwiza, and Kanishk Jain. This funding will support DEI initiatives in our department.
The RNA Discovery Center will cultivate an inclusive community of scientists dedicated to investigating all aspects of RNA biology, some of which has already been implicated in human diseases and much of which we know very little about.
