A new mouse model of severe asthma (funded by NIAID)

The goal of this grant is to characterize a new mouse model of severe asthma which exhibits extreme sensitivity to allergen-induced allergic inflammation and steroid resistance.  Drs. Kelada and Moran will characterize which immune pathways underlie this strain’s susceptibility to allergic inflammation and also identify which genes confer this susceptibility....
