Refer a Patient - Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine

For referring physicians: Mail or fax (preferred) or send with the patient all pertinent records, including reports of chest imaging (along with images via powershare or on CD), pulmonary function tests, and any other relevant laboratory tests. Referrals within the UNC system may be placed via an EPIC order as well.

For physicians within the UNC System, if you have a focused question that specialists can answer using solely the information available in Epic without seeing the patient, consider placing an e-consult.
