UNC Ophthalmology is delighted to welcome Bonnie Sklar, MD, a Cornea and External Disease specialist, to the department’s clinical faculty team. In early summer 2024, Dr. Sklar completed her Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at Duke Eye Center. She completed her residency at the Wills Eye Hospital/Jefferson School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology in Philadelphia, PA.
In outpatient care, Dr. Sklar will be treating cornea, cataract, and external disease cases at UNC Kittner Eye Center and at the UNC Ophthalmology Holly Springs office. For procedural cases, she will be performing surgery at UNC Hospitals Hillsborough campus and at UNC Holly Springs Hospital ORs.
