Million dollar gift establishes a multidisciplinary surgical skills lab.
A new surgical clinic recently opened in the Medical Office Building at Chatham Hospital. UNC Health Care surgeons will operate in the year-old, nearly 4,000 square foot space. Surgeries will take place once or twice a week for the following specialty areas – ophthalmology; general surgery; ear, nose and throat; and gynecology.
We would like to announce that our own Dr. Amy Fowler has been accepted to Academy of Educators (AOE). The UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine AOE was founded in October 2006 as a part of the School’s strategic plan to enhance research and scholarship towards excellence in teaching.
