Host: Nick Brown

Dr. Zheng’s research is focused on the structural biology of protein ubiquitination, signaling, and therapeutic discovery.

“We use structural biology approach including cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography to dissect the molecular mechanisms of protein functions and biological interactions in various kingdoms of life. By probing nature in its finest atomic details, we strive to understand what makes life possible and what goes wrong in different human diseases. We aim to applying the underlying principles we learn to the development of novel therapeutics as well as the ecological balance of our planet.”
