Navigating Challenging Communication
In this session, we will learn how to use mindfulness to navigate challenging communication effectively. We will also discuss different approaches to depression and explore other non-pharmacological tools. A Loving-Kindness meditation will be offered and conversations will be had about the new experience.
- Try one mind-body approach to depression every day (exercise or movement activities, art or music therapy, spiritual practice, journaling, etc.). Refer to the manual or your previous experiences for more ideas.
- Practice a meditation of your choosing (loving-kindness, awareness of breath, or body scan), 6 out of 7 days a week.
