| The North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center’s Burn Prevention Program is dedicated to sharing burn management, burn prevention and general information regarding the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center to nonprofessional, paraprofessional and professional groups in North Carolina. Programs are tailored to each audience — such as emergency care personnel, fire departments, schools and senior citizens — and delivered free of charge across the state. In addition, the outreach staff works to pass legislative initiatives to promote fire and burn safety, as well as distribute safety tips statewide.
