Risk Watch
Risk Watch® is a comprehensive injury prevention curriculum that targets the eight major risk areas that kill or injure the most children in North America each year:
- motor vehicle crashes
- fires and burns
- choking, suffocation and strangulation
- poisoning
- falls
- unintentional firearms incidents
- bike and pedestrian hazards
- water hazards
The curriculum is divided into five modules:
- Pre-K/Kindergarten
- Grades 1-2
- Grades 3-4
- Grades 5-6
- and Grades 7-8.
Each module is intended to create safer homes and communities for children and their families by giving them the information and support they need to make positive choices about their personal safety and well-being.
