Tar Heal Tuesday all in for a healthier North CaroinaDonors, alumni and other supporters of the UNC Health Foundation will come together this fall for the seventh annual Tar Heal Tuesday fundraising campaign. Set for November 29, this day of giving will once again aim to raise money in support of UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine.

Since 2016, the UNC Health Foundation has celebrated #GivingTuesday – an international day of giving that began in 2012 – with its own multi-channel fundraising campaign known as Tar Heal Tuesday. This annual one-day campaign provides an opportunity to celebrate the important work that UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine do to conduct life-changing research, educate our future healthcare professionals and provide quality, compassionate patient care throughout North Carolina and beyond.

Despite the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tar Heal Tuesday 2021 was our most successful #TarHealTuesday campaign to date. This year, an overall goal of $200,000 across all areas has been established, with matching gifts in place across several areas thanks to generous donors.

For more information on supporting UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine this Tar Heal Tuesday, visit unchf.org/tht22 or contact Kerrenda Crandol at kerrenda_crandol@med.unc.edu.

For the BCBP graduate student fund for our department please choose the drop-down choice of UNC Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics 2022 to give securely on this crowdfunding platform.
