UNC Biochemistry and Biophysics has been preparing for the Fall 2020 semester. The department recognizes and places priority on the importance of providing a safe and sanitary environment for our students, faculty, and staff who will return to campus. The decisions we have made stem from careful consideration of the current situation of the virus, social distancing measures, and University protocols and guidelines.
Silvia Ramos presented a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion message at the June 2020 BCBP faculty meeting during multiple crises among those including anti-black violence, mental health, and COVID-19. She emphasized the important of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and how to continue our efforts within the department.
The administrative meeting led by Lynn Ray. Only administrative staff are required to attend. These meetings will be held regularly throughout the work from home months.
